We all know that Iceland is famous for its beautiful and absolutely breathtaking views. But how the life in Iceland really looks like?

Icelandic society is consider as one of the most happiest countries in the world! So how come Icelandic people are so happy when the winters are long, dark and have extreme weather? Well, the country is small, 2/3 of the population live in Reykjavik, which is consider as one of the most cleanest, safest and eco-friendly cities in the world.
Iceland is one of the country with the lowest murder rate with 1 per every 100,000 people! People living in Iceland are trustful and are known to send their young children to school by themselves.
The country is a parliamentary republic which has a system that provides free education through collage, health care and nine months of paid parental leave for mothers and fathers. Most Icelanders are well-educated, employed and healthy which is confirmed by the fact that an average Icelander lives for about 83 years and the unemployment rate is just 5%!
Iceland is also known for its national pastime which is reading and writing. Iceland publishes and translates more books than every other country. It is also said that every 1 of 10 Icelanders will publish a book!
The most popular activities are ice climbing, kayaking and going to the gym but one of the most important symbol of Icelands health and happiness are huge public pools called sundlaugar. Families, teenagers and seniors are coming to lounge in them almost every day!

Living in Iceland truly sounds like living in a dream...
